Get your product certified.

We make AVA certification simple and fast. Submit a brief application, share your ingredient list, label, and sample, and an AVA reviewer will respond with a Certificate and your AVA Certification Logo within 5 to 7 business days.

Step 1 - Apply online

Complete the application on this page with your company name, product name, the AVA certification you are pursuing, and basic contact details. An AVA team member reviews each application personally and emails back with a quote plus the next steps.

Step 2 - Submit documentation and payment

We receive your payment, ingredient list, product label, and a product sample. Documentation requirements depend on your product category and the certification you are pursuing - we walk you through everything. We reach out promptly if any clarification is needed.

Step 3 - Review and approval

AVA Certification review takes 5 to 7 business days from the moment we receive all required materials. On approval, we issue a Certificate and the AVA Certification Logo files for use on packaging, marketing, and shelf signage. Your certification is valid for one year, with a simple renewal path the following year.

Terms and confidentiality

The AVA Logo and AVA Certification Logo may only be used on a product after Certification approval and may only continue to be used while certification remains in good standing. AVA treats all non-public product information - including ingredients, formulas, and supplier relationships - as strictly confidential.

What we will ask for

Documentation requirements vary by category, but a typical food product certification will require a full ingredient declaration with sub-components, current packaging artwork (front and back), supplier statements for any ingredient where animal-sourced status is not obvious from the name, and a finished product sample mailed to the AVA office. Cosmetic, supplement, and household-product reviews follow a similar pattern with category-specific adjustments. The reviewer will tell you exactly what is needed for your product on the first email.
